A Classic Southern Summer Wedding featuring The Temples
As a wedding planner, you truly never know who your clients are going to be.
Sometimes they will be people you’ve grown up with and known your whole life, other times it will be strangers you meet on the Internet, and then there will be times that your clients are people that you met one or two times in your life by fate and your worlds just happen to collide yet again for such a special moment.
That’s how it happened for my sweet clients, Macie and Cole Temples.
Their classic southern wedding was held at the beautiful Brice House in Vidalia, GA and like many summer weddings in Georgia, I spent much of my morning checking the radar to see if we’d have to flip to the rain plan.
But luck was on their side on this beautiful May day and we were able to host the ceremony outside!
The bride was able to enjoy a slow and fun morning with her bridesmaids as Ansley with Clarke and Company Cosmetics and Emily Conner did their hair and makeup. Everyone looked absolutely stunning!
The venue itself served as a gorgeous backdrop, so a ton of decor wasn’t needed, but the bride thoughtfully sprinkled in beautiful details with flowers and other unique additions, including programs that the bride designed herself as newspaper articles with all of the wedding details.
The Temples said “I Do” in front of the house and cocktail hour followed before we moved to the back of the house under a beautifully decorated tent!
The centerpieces were stunning and the food stations catered by The Pond House were set up perfectly. Overall, the wedding was an elegant, charming, classic theme and Flowers by Chloe did an amazing job bringing Macie’s vision to life!
The florals incorporated magnolias and hydrangeas to achieve an elegant look and match the southern style of the venue!
As the night went on, guests were entertained by Sam Hill Entertainment with 1st Generation Band to keep the party going with upbeat and fun songs!
Before the night officially came to a close, Macie and Cole had a stunning sparkler exit at the front of the house as their guests sent them off in style.
This is one of my favorite weddings that I’ve ever been a part of and I was so honored to be a part of their big day!
As always, this day couldn’t have been made possible without the amazing vendors including:
